I graduated with a BFA in Visual Arts from St. Michael's College in Vermont. Inspired by a lifelong love of working with my hands, I found myself enrolled at the Palmer Institute of Massage and Bodywork in Salem, MA. In 2006, I became a Licensed Massage Therapist.

At Palmer, I was introduced to the healing world of energy work and continued to further my studies. From 2006–2010 I studied Usui Reiki under several Reiki masters, and in January of 2010, I became a Certified Reiki Master–Teacher, the highest level one can achieve.

I have taken several advanced studies classes including: Assessment and Treatment of Shoulder Pain, where I learned therapeutic techniques that address the most commonly injured structures in the shoulder. Another training, Massage for Cervical Pain helped to further my understanding of chronic neck and shoulder pain associated with chronic headaches, stiff neck, frozen shoulder and arm pain, thoracic pain, and forward head posture. I have also completed the MotherMassage ® Massage During Pregnancy training with Elaine Stillerman. A woman's body embarks on a remarkablejourney during pregnancy. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of that process and transformation, aiding the expectant mother's comfort and happiness. Having had 2 children of my own, I feel like I know what a mama's body needs!

I maintain a professional level membership in  Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and am Massachusetts State Certified.

On a yearly basis, I give back to the Vineyard community by offering a discount to members of the Veterans Community via MV Community Services. I am also a member of the Vineyard Birth Collective, a local resource for new and expecting parents. In addition, I proudly support various local fundraising efforts by donating free massages.
